Blake and I had a date this morning. We went to brunch at De Champs, a local bar/restaurant at the top of the "hill" of Picard. I love brunch and its a new thing for De Champs to offer brunch with an actual chef!, not the usual bar food. It was a beautiful and clear morning and we had a good time looking out over the turquoise water and the boats in the harbor. There was even a pretty clear view of Guadelupe, the next island to the north. I forgot my camera so I can't post any pictures of the amazing food we had, but everything was delicious!
I admit that I'll miss the natural beauty of this place. It was nice to sit back and enjoy it together for a few hours, before Blake got back to the grind of studying for finals.
