My friend Kristen's mom is visiting the island this week. On Tuesday I went on a trip with them to Indian River and Secret Beach. The Indian River trip is a canoe ride up to a lovely flower garden and a outdoor bar. The river is a national park, and is very beautiful and peaceful...you are completely immersed in nature! Some of the scenes from Pirates of the Caribbean 2 were filmed along the Indian River. Secret Beach is a tiny beach just south of our town, that you can't get to on land...you have to take a boat. I'm posting a picture of my favorite flower from the garden, as well as my favorite pictures from the trip. On the way back, we saw a complete rainbow, I posted a picture of the left side. It started raining before I got a good picture of the right side. It was a great trip!
